Disability support shaped around you

You know what matters in your everyday life. You may want a helping hand with practical tasks, company for an activity or someone alongside you when you go out. Tell us what you would like support with and what you want to keep doing in your own way.

Your choices shape the conversation

We want to understand your interests and strengths as well as the support you are looking for. That includes how you prefer to communicate, what pace feels comfortable and which routines you want to keep.

Everyday support might involve shopping and meals, agreed household tasks, shared interests or community activities. The useful starting point is your own priorities, rather than assumptions about a diagnosis.

Look for the personal fit

A CarePal is a care and support worker matched around the individual. Your practical needs, experience required, personality, communication preferences, location and availability all help shape the match.

You review suitable profiles and help choose whom to meet before support starts. A family member, trusted person or referring professional can contribute where you want this and it is appropriate. Your wishes remain central.

Build a working relationship you can talk about

There should be space to explain how you like support offered and to say when something needs changing. We aim for a dedicated CarePal, or a small consistent team where appropriate, with time to learn your preferences. The same individual cannot be guaranteed for every visit.

Tell the team what feels useful and what you would like to adjust. We will discuss the match and agreed arrangements with you.

Let’s talk about what would help

Our minimum visit is two hours, with a minimum support package of six hours per week. Both minimums apply.

There is no upfront matching fee. Payment begins when a suitable CarePal is in place and support starts, in line with your agreement.

Before support starts, we check the activities, your postcode and CarePal availability. Personal care, medication or specialist duties need a separate scope and suitability review. This is planned, regular support.
