The CarePal approach to everyday companionship

Everyday companionship starts with the person: their interests, routines and what makes a visit feel comfortable. Agreed activities might include conversation, hobbies, a shared meal or an outing, subject to suitability and practical arrangements.

Familiarity takes time

Choosing a potential CarePal and meeting first gives you a way to consider the personal fit. Discuss communication, timings and any practical help before support begins.

We take time to understand your support needs, interests, routines and communication preferences before sharing suitable CarePal profiles. You help choose whom to meet and meet before support starts. We aim for a dedicated CarePal, or a small consistent team where appropriate, so there is time to build familiarity and trust. The same individual cannot be guaranteed for every visit.

Tell us about any personal-care, medication or specialist requirements. These need a separate suitability and scope check under the current arrangements before anything is agreed.

Our minimum visit is two hours, with a minimum support package of six hours per week. There is no upfront matching fee. Payment begins when a suitable CarePal is in place and support starts, in line with your agreement.

Support is subject to suitability, agreed arrangements and CarePal availability. This is planned regular support, not an emergency or immediate-start service.
